CryEngine 3 Lanzado


Ya esta disponible para desarrolladores, la proxima version del CryEngine, el CryEngine 3. Crytek ha elaborado CE3 teniendo muy en cuenta el presente y pensando en el futuro mejorando y, sobre todo, optimizando todo lo conseguido con CryEngine 2 (Crysis). Su gran escalabilidad eliminará los problemas en el desarrollo de juegos multiplataforma para PC, Xbox 360 y PlayStation 3 y además creará el primer middleware listo desde el primer día para la próxima generación de hardware en PC (DX11) y de consolas. Todo esto con unas herramientas potentisimas a la par de simples que facilitarán enormemente la tarea de los devs.

Las novedades de las que puede presumir la nueva obra de Crytek se podrían destacar tres como las más importantes:

-El sistema de iluminación global que permitirá dar una iluminación a los juegos mucho más realista reduciendo significativamente el consumo de recursos del sistema.
-El potentísimo editor "sandbox" que permite ver en tiempo real el resultado de lo creado en las respectivas versiones de PC/X360/PS3.
-El nuevo sistema de física procedural que mejorará la sensación de destrucción del entorno así como las animaciones ingame.






Crysis 2 y STALKER 2 ya han confirmado la utilización de CryEngine 3 y se espera que a partir de ahora muchas más compañías se animen a licenciarlo. Y para celebrar el lanzamiento y explicar todo esto, Crytek nos deja con una nota de prensa y un vídeo.
